DETROIT – Wayne State University is hosting a celebration of Sonny Eliot's remarkable life on Thursday night.
"Always Sonny!" begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m. at Wayne State's Community Arts Auditorium.

The event will include friends and colleagues of Eliot who will share their memories. A video tribute will also be played.
Eliot brought a unique brand of entertainment and information to homes for more than 60 years.
He died Nov 16. He was 91 years old.
