The metro Detroit area has scattered light snow chances and low to mid 20s this morning with wind chills dipping into the low teens for the next several hours. Sunday afternoon will be cloudy with mid 30s for high temperatures and west winds 8-13 mph with occasional gusts near 20 mph. We may see a few brief light snow showers and flurries through midday before the dry air wins out.
Monday will be mostly cloudy with a few peeks of sunshine and mid to upper 30s. Tuesday is the day to watch with a winter storm bearing down on the area. It looks like this will start as a wintry mix just after lunch and then become moderate to heavy snow at times through Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night.
