Weekend Traffic Alert: Detroit-Windsor Tunnel to temporarily close Sunday morning

Closed from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Detroit -

Motorists who use the tunnel to and from Canada will need to take the bridge tomorrow, the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel will be closed Sunday morning.

According to Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, the tunnel will be closed for three hours.

Traffic will not be allowed through from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. for a security training exercise that’s taking place on both sides of the border.

The Ambassador Bridge will remain open.
