The United States Coast Guard was called out to the Detroit River Thursday after receiving a call of a woman's body in the water.
The discovery was made along west Jefferson near the Delray boat ramp.
The woman is described as an black female in her 40's and was wearing a black jogging suit.
No other information has been made available.
