DETROIT – ACCESS' Employment & Training Department will host a job fair in Detroit on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fellowship Chapel -- 7707 W. Outer Drive.
The job fair will feature more than 40 employers from different career fields, including banking, education, health care, retail and more.
The event is free and open to the public.
Representatives from AAA, Meijer, Quicken Loans, the United States Navy, U.S. Customs & Border Patrol, the Detroit Police, MGM Grand Detroit, Bank of America, the University of Michigan, Lowe's and more will be seeking prospective employees. Recruiters from Eastern Michigan University, the Detroit Training Center, and other educational institutions will also be taking part in the event.
"We're hoping this event helps the people in the community and others looking for work," said Chet Pitts, business employment services representative at ACCESS. "I look forward to helping Detroiters become aware of the exciting openings available in our region."
Candidates should bring multiple copies of their resume and prepare to interview with recruiters on-site.
