The county says the activity includes writing bad checks for the purchase of a vehicle in Ecorse, rent for a building in Wayne and possession of a stolen vehicle.

However, the county says police believe there are other cases that have not been reported.

According to Wayne County, the 26-year-old defendant, who is currently in the Wayne County Jail, had been on probation for criminal activity in Minnesota.

The arraignment is scheduled to take place Tuesday at 10 a.m.
