Alleged victim helps nab Farmington Hills flashing suspect

Woman uses car to block suspect, gives police helpful information

Chaz Hahn has been charged with indecent exposure in Farmington Hills, after the alleged victim blocked his car and helped police later locate him.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – A woman who said a man exposed himself to her in Farmington Hills took action and helped police arrest a suspect.

The Novi woman was in her car in the parking lot of Hunter Square shopping center on Aug. 31 when she said a man in a nearby car exposed himself in her view.  The woman then moved her car behind the man's car, blocking his exit.

Fearing the man might ram her car, the woman pulled away, but not before getting the license number and description of the car and the man inside.

That information helped police identify a suspect, Chaz Hahn was arrested and was charged with aggravated indecent exposure.

Hahn was released on bond and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.
