FERNDALE, Mich. – Ferndale police are looking for two men who tried to rob a 7-11 at 9 Mile and Pinecrest in Ferndale early Sunday morning.
The two men are described as black, both average builds; between 5'8'' and 5'10'', 150-175 pounds.

One man was armed with an AK47 type rifle wearing a Halloween mask. The other man was wearing a Tigers cap with a blue shirt and khaki shorts.
When they arrived at the 7-11, the doors were locked because the store was being stocked.
The two men then went towards civilians in the are and opened fired, firing 8 to 10 shots. Fortunately, no one was injured.
They left on foot and were last seen going north/west from the store.
