Missing boy with autism found safe in Madison Heights

Anthony McClain found safe, police say

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – Police said a missing 14-year-old Madison Heights boy with autism has been found safe and is unharmed.

Anthony McClain went missing after being dropped off around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at a bus stop in Madison Heights. He didn't return home.

Police said Anthony is autistic, but "high functioning." He was dropped off at the bus stop in front of 32000 Concord Drive in the Lexington Village Apartments and didn't return home.

He was found after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
