TAYLOR, Mich. – A 9-month old baby girl is in critical condition with a head injury after being beaten by a neighbor on Wednesday.
Police said the baby was found inside the Sandee Townhomes in Taylor. She was not breathing when she was found. She was taken to Children's Hospital of Michigan.

Police said a 15-year-old, who has Down Syndrome, was taken into custody.
They do not have a motive, but are investigating.
