PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

A bank robbery turned into a police chase Tuesday afternoon in Washtenaw County, and it ended with one of the suspects barricaded inside a Pittsfield Township home.

According to police, two men robbed a bank in Chelsea and took off heading east on Interstate 94. When they were stopped by police one of the men fled on foot. He eventually locked himself in a home on Highlander Way.

No one was inside the home at the time. The barricaded situation ended with the man in custody. The other man is in custody, too.

No one was hurt.
