AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – A 55-year-old man from Belleville was killed Saturday morning when he was hit by a vehicle on I-75 while checking his semitruck on the side of the road.
Police say that a vehicle was traveling north on I-75 at around 1:45 a.m. when it hit a pedestrian walking near the fog line. The driver of the vehicle didn't stop at the scene.

Police believe the suspect's vehicle is a silver 2013-14 Ford car, possibly a Focus or Escape.
