DETROIT – A car ran over a bicyclist Tuesday night on Michigan Avenue at Junction Street in southwest Detroit.
The driver did not stop, leaving the bike and victim behind.
The man on the bike was riding away from a party store when the car hit him. He died on scene.
Police hope surveillance cameras in the area will help them figure out who hit the bicyclist. They say there are no witnesses coming forward. They do not have a description of the vehicle.
