Bloomfield Township police seek couple who stole tool kits

Police say couple stole twice from store on Telegraph Road

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Bloomfield Township police are hoping the public can identify a couple who is wanted for stealing twice from a Lowe's store.

Police said the couple can be seen on store surveillance cameras taking Dewalt tool kits from the store on Telegraph Road.

The first incident happened on Dec. 20, when the man put four kits, valued at $1,496, into his cart and walked out without paying.

On Jan. 7, the woman picked up a Dewalt tool kit, worth $579, and also left without paying for it.

Police said the couple has been seen in a red Pontiac Grand AM.

Police describe the man as white, in his 50s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 185 pounds with short brown hair. He put on sunglasses when he entered the store.

Police describe the woman as white, in her 40s, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair in a bun. She also wore sunglasses in the store.
