GREEN OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A boil water advisory has been issued for residents in Green Oak Township.

Supervisor Mark St. Charles said water through the Livingston Community Water Authority had to be shut down Tuesday afternoon for repairs on a water main break.

Water is expected to be turned back on by 3 p.m., but because of the loss in water pressure, all residents are being advised to boil their water for 72 hours.

Residents who have any concerns can call 810-231-1333.
