Lions & Tigers both playing in Detroit

DETROIT – It's Monday madness in downtown Detroit, making it a great night for sports fans.

Tigers play at Comerica Park just after 4pm, with 40,000 fans expected.

The Lions will also be in Detroit, playing Ford Field at 7:10pm with 65,000 expected to attend.

If you're headed downtown make sure to give yourself some extra time.

Avoid using Woodward if you can due to the construction.

Also make sure to park in approved lots to avoid getting scammed.

In designated Olympia entertainment parking lots for Tigers fans you must show a ticket to the game, parking pass, or proof of tickets at will call in order to park.

The other Olympia lots will be at a first come, first serve basis.

A free block party for Tigers and Lions fans will be taking place at Grand Circus park from 12pm to 11pm.

There will also be a Lions tailgate party at the Eastern Market starting at noon.

A round trip shuttle will be available at the Eastern Market which will take fans to and from the game.
