Camera found in women's bathroom at White Lake business

Employee put on administrative leave as incident is investigated

WHITE LAKE, Mich. – A disturbing discovery was made Wednesday afternoon when a female employee at Szott Auto Group in White Lake found a tiny camera in the ladies room.

The dealership immediately called White Lake police.

Owner Thad Szott told Local 4 the incident has shaken up his close-knit crew.

Police will only say an investigation is underway.

Employees said they believe a small wide-angle camera was positioned underneath a table in the restroom outside the stalls. Police questioned at least one employee who was put on administrative leave until this is cleared up, sources said.

Szott hopes the incident doesn't overshadow the good his business had planned for Thursday night, when a $60,000 check will be donated at the Milford vs. Lakeland football game.
