Carmen writes from New York:

9 a.m.:

Hello! It's Carmen in NYC at the Today Show.

We are hanging out with gold medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White as they get ready to skate on the Rock Center ice.

They are truly rock stars here.

People on the street are stopping to take pictures and just say hello.

A trucker even honked as they walked down to the ice.

New Yorkers are used to celebrity sightings, but these kids are literally stopping traffic.

Meryl and Charlie are getting ready to skate.  And the Moms just arrived!!!

Noon:

We just spent the morning with Meryl and Charlie and their moms.

They could not have been nicer or more genuine. They are truly grateful for all the love and support from metro Detroit.

I will be live from Rockefeller Center at 4, 5 and 6 today.

I talked to  Meryl and Charlie right after they skated and then again with their moms.

Make sure you tune it starting at 4 today to hear about their Sochi adventure, their gold medal and their future plans.
