'Carrie' coffee shop prank spooks customers

Coffee shop stunt scares, shakes customers

A stunt at a New York coffee shop left customers shaking in their shoes. A young woman, who appeared to have telekinetic powers, left people wondering whether the devil himself had taken over the woman's body. Turns out it was just a promotion for the new 'Carrie' movie.

A marketing company created a fake wall with remote-controlled tables and chairs and spring-loaded bookshelves to make it appear as if the woman went wild after a man spilled coffee on her computer. Hidden cameras captured the reactions of people in the coffee shop.

"Carrie," starring Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore, arrives in theaters on Oct. 18.
