Chief Mouser won't change as Theresa May moves into 10 Downing St.

Larry is warming up to new Prime Minister

LONDON – The Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office will not be replaced at 10 Downing Street as David Cameron is replaced by Theresa May.

Larry is a 9-year-old Tabby. He has held the official position since February 2011 and was “recruited” from the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on recommendation for his mousing skills.

The Chief Mouser’s main responsibility is to contemplate a solution to the mouse occupancy at 10 Downing Street.

Larry took to Twitter confirming that he is getting along with the new Prime Minister.

He spends his days greeting guests to the house, inspecting security defenses and testing antique furniture for napping quality.
