Christmas day home break-ins may be connected

Break-ins happen in Pittsfield, Ypsilanti townships

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Police believe there may be a connection between two home break-ins that happened on Christmas day in Pittsfield and Ypsilanti townships.

At around 4:13 p.m., a home in the 4000 block of Textile Road in Pittsfield was broken into and the residents said there were things stolen from inside.

No intruders were found during that incident. But a man was caught on camera the same day in the 5000 block of Textile Road in Ypsilanti, where a second home was broken into. The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said they believe there may be a connection between the two.
