ROSEVILLE, Mich. - A 50-year-old Clinton Township resident is recovering in the hospital after being shot Thursday in the hand and the groin, according to Roseville police.
Officials said the victim was standing outside a house around 5:10 p.m. Thursday on Macomb Street between Church and Oakdale streets when an altercation started. During the argument, a man pulled out a handgun and fired several shots, hitting the victim twice.
Police are searching for a bald 45-to-50-year-old black man. He was wearing a green coat with apparent fur trim around the hood.
He was last seen running northwest from the scene. It's unknown if he used a vehicle to get away, police said.
Police said it's also unclear why the man shot the victim.
