Couple suffers miscarriage after viral pregnancy announcement

TERRELL, Texas – Just days after their pregnancy announcement went viral online, a couple has announced that they've suffered a miscarriage.

Sam and Nia Rader said they shared their latest emotional video with the hope that it would help others who had gone through the same loss.

"I just want to say, too, that maybe there's someone out there that's going through this with us. The Bible says to weep with those who weep and mourn with those who mourn, and I am mourning with those of you who are feeling this," Nia says in the video.

Last week, Sam posted a video surprising his wife with her own pregnancy -- having managed to get a urine sample and take a pregnancy test. Her joyful response, and the less-than-common method of finding out about the pregnancy -- propelled the video to more than 10 million page views.

"It just, bam, it just hit us like a bomb," Nia says in the video about the miscarriage. "And those of you who have experienced miscarriage before, I can relate now. I have felt my womb empty out. I never ever ever knew that women felt that way."
