DETROIT – One Metro Detroit bride has plans to leave Wednesday to head to her wedding, but that bride is now left worrying whether or not she will even make it out of town with the impending storm.
Casey Webb was supposed to pick up her wedding dress, pack and head to the airport and fly to destination Playa Del Carmen for the wedding of a lifetime.
"This is one of the reasons I did my wedding away, and it's got me again," Webb said.
With heavy snow moving in, Webb and her fiancé Mark are scrambling, wondering if the weather is going to put a damper on their destination plans.
"We got engaged there last December," Webb said. "We had a wonderful experience and we really wanted that trip we did (before). I was praying it wouldn't rain (or) snow."
So the hopeful couple is rolling the dice, heading to the airport in hopes that they will be Mexico-bound come Wednesday morning.
