Crime Stoppers seeks information on murder of Spencer Bennett

They are offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.

DETROIT – Crime Stoppers of Michigan is still seeking information on the murder of 22-year-old Spencer Bennett over a year ago.

Bennett was found in the early morning hours of May 14, 2014 at the Head Start administrative building at 7303 West 7 Mile Road with a gunshot wound to the head.

Neighbors reported seeing two men walking through the neighborhood earlier, although details are scarce and it's unclear whether the two men were involved.

Bennett was educated at Pershing High School in Detroit and had started a new job just five months before his death making parts for automotive engines. Bennett was reportedly considered to be an intelligent and ambitious young man who enjoyed playing football, rapping, and drawing.
