CRUSH Birmingham returns for 6th annual event

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. – The sixth annual CRUSH BIRMINGHAM 2013 Wine and Food Classic returns to the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham on Saturday, September 21st.

All proceeds benefit Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan, an independent nonprofit foundation whose mission is to provide and promote compassionate, personalized support to people in Michigan affected by leukemia and other related disorders.

Perhaps the year's most anticipated wine pairing event in metro Detroit, the CRUSH MICHIGAN Wine and Food Classic will feature renowned chefs, wine personalities and Master Sommeliers from across the country providing wine and food pairing expertise, as they describe, advise and recommend some of the year's most exquisite wine choices and culinary pairings. 

Following the Wine & Food Classic is the back-by-popular-demand CRUSH After Hours event. To keep the festivities going, CRUSH guests and others are invited to "wine down" at the sixth annual Rémy Cointreau USA CRUSH BIRMINGHAM After Hours event, beginning at 10:00 p.m. at Townsend Hotel's Regency Ballroom. Guests will enjoy mixing great music with an array of Rémy luxury spirits and late-night bites available at

11:00 p.m. Live music will be provided by The Royce and Jenn Band.

Patron admission tickets include a private champagne reception sponsored by Brooks Brothers and access to the main food/wine pairing event and After Hours for $350. General admission for the food/wine pairing event and After Hours is $250. For young adults ages 21-35, the general admission cost is $125.
