MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – 
The sister of convicted rapist Paul Jobak spoke out Tuesday as she tries to help keep her brother behind bars.
Jobak was set to be released Tuesday after a recent decision by the parole board. In 1985, Jobak sexually assaulted a woman at knifepoint. He was released in 1990 but 9 months later he raped a woman at her Warren home.
"I am really worried that when he gets out he will do something to his family or more victims," said Jobak's sister, Michelle Ghent.
Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith's team also was in court arguing to keep Jobak in prison and off the street.
Jobak's family members say he has threatened to kill them and has sent cryptic letters from prison. They are concerned for their own safety and for the safety of all women in the Metro Detroit area.
"Paul's a dangerous man. Very dangerous," said Ghent.
The judge likely won't begin hearing arguments for another month which means there could be some time before a decision is made.
Jobak recently complete a sex offender treatment program, but Michigan Department of Corrections records show he refused to participate in that program on several past occasions.
