Delta Dears celebrating 100 years with service campaign

DETROIT – If busy hands make the heart and soul healthy, just try to keep up with the eldest ladies of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority.

They go by the name Delta Dears and are members of the sorority who are at least 62 years old. Despite their ages, they are still living by the mantra of community service. And the Detroit Chapter is celebrating its 100 years with a service campaign.

The "100 Ways to Serve Campaign," where volunteers can make pledges to perform a certain number of hours of community service.
