Michigan State Police say a 40-year-old Detroit man was killed Monday morning when his car lost control and flipped on I-96.
Police said it appears the driver, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, tried to avoid some empty boxes that were in the eastbound local lanes near Schaefer Highway.
