The children were alone in their home on Pinehurst.

The 10-year-old woke up in the early morning to find the home had been robbed and his mother was not home. He called 911 to report the burglary. Police took the children into custody and now the fathers of the children are  fighting for custody.

Family members say she is not a neglectful mother, only that she made a poor decision.

Pitts is expected to be in court Sunday for arraignment.
