Detroit police: 16-year-old reports being kidnapped, sexually assaulted while walking to store

Police say girl was forced at knifepoint into SUV near Wadsworth, Fielding

DETROIT – Detroit police are investigating the reported sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl who was attacked while she walked to a store.

Police said the girl was near Wadsworth and Fielding Sunday afternoon when two men in a black Ford Expedition pulled up to her.

A man forced her at knifepoint into the SUV.

Police said the girl was sexually assaulted by the man while another man drove.

She was later dropped back off where she had been abducted.

Police haven't released a detailed description of the girl's attackers.
