DETROIT – Live from inside the courtroom: Testimony continues Thursday in the murder case of Aiyana Jones. Local 4's Hank Winchester is inside the courtroom.

11:02 a.m.
Cross examination is underway.
Weekely now being questioned about his tactical training and also to discuss the events the morning Ayiana was killed.
They're working to learn more about his training and the training of the team.
The prosecution working to see if the team was properly trained to avoid any potential problems.
11 a.m.
Weekly is very emotional again talking about his involvement with children's charities.
Fishman has just wrapped up questioning Weekly. He explained in detail what happened the morning of the shooting.
He talked out entering the home, what happened in the moments after the shooting and said this event "changed my life forever."
10:13 a.m.
Officer Joseph Weekley takes the stand. He is accused of manslaughter in the May 16, 2010 shooting death of 7-year-old Aiyana Jones.
Weekly is very emotional. At one point the attorney asked him if he was ok.. he said, "I'm emotional today, yes."
They are asking him basic questions regarding his education, life and interest in law enforcement. He's now talking about tatics and training for the special defense team.
9:40 a.m.
Jury and all involved in the case have now returned to the courtroom.
Attorney Fishman is now addressing the court and the judge asking the judge to have the jury focus on more specific issues in the case rather than ruling on broadly
The prosecution is now arguing about the issue the credibility regarding whether the jurors will embrace all or just some of Ayiana's Grandmother's testimony.
There is also a debate regarding gross negligence in this case and what role that plays.
