DETROIT – Detroit police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 20-year-old who is diagnosed with schizophrenia.
Police said Binyam Mamo hasn't been seen or heard from since Jan. 12.

He was last reported to have been in the 1700 block of 21st Street.
Despite his mental condition, police said Mamo is in good physical shape.
He is described as being Ethiopian, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, khaki pants and was carrying a gray/light brown backpack.
Anyone who has seen Mamo or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call Detroit police at 313-596-6251.
