DETROIT – Detroit police are searching for two men who ran from officers on foot after fleeing a traffic stop and crashing their car on eastbound I-94 at Coplin Street.
Police said the car took off at a high speed on I-94 when officers tried to conduct a traffic stop. The car eventually crashed on the freeway and the men got out and fled on foot.
The men ran up an embankment and into a north Detroit neighborhood. Police are searching the neighborhood with guns drawn.
Police found two long guns in the car.
