Detroit police: Teen says she was grabbed, assaulted by group of men

Incident happened Tuesday evening near Rosemont, Warren avenues

DETROIT – Detroit police are looking for three men who they believe kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl.

Police said the girl was walking with her sister Tuesday evening near Rosemont and Warren avenues when the men, who were in an older white Suburban, tried talking to her.

The girl told police she ignored the men and kept walking, but when she heard the SUV start up, she started to run and told her sister to get home.

Police said one of the men grabbed the teen and forced her into the SUV, where she was held down and assaulted.

She was able to eventually kick open the SUV's door and get away.

These are the descriptions released by police:

Black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, medium build, light complexion and wearing a gray cap.

Black male, 20 to 35 years old, black buzzed-style hair and a full beard and mustache.

Black male, 35 years old, 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, brown eyes, Afro hairstyle and goatee.
