Detroit Red Wings prospect arrested for drunken driving while wearing 'Teletubbies' costume

Riley Sheahan pleads not-guilty in October incident in downtown Grand Rapids

DETROIT – A prospect for the Detroit Red Wings is in some serious trouble, but possibly even more embarrassed.

Riley Sheahan plays for the Grand Rapids Griffins. A just-released police report details when happened the night he was pulled over Oct. 29.

The 20-year-old was stopped for driving the wrong way in downtown Grand Rapids and police said he was wearing a purple Teletubbies costume. He was also carrying Red Wing Brenden Smith's ID.

He was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

His blood-alcohol was .30, police said.

He pleaded not-guilty at his arraignment.
