Detroit River Days returns to Riverfront

River Days begins Friday, runs through Sunday

DETROIT – GM River Days presented by the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, returns June 21-23, 2013. This one of a kind festival takes place along the Detroit Riverfront – from the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority Terminal & Dock just west of the GM Renaissance Center, to Rivard Plaza and the William G. Milliken State Park. River Days is a celebration of Detroit's RiverWalk with activities on land and water.  Experience tall ships, jet-ski demos and riverboat tours to live music, sand sculptures, kids activities, delicious eats and more.

Musical acts will feature The Guess Who, The O'Jays and George Clinton & the P-Funk All Stars. They'll play Friday, Saturday, Sunday respectively.

Local bands SuperLast, Soul Preacha's featuring Marcus Cole & Mark A'lleven and The Infatuations who get to perform on the Michigan Lottery Stage.

Sundays hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Admission to GM River Days is $3 and $5 after 5pm to support the non-profit Detroit RiverFront Conservancy.
