DETROIT – A 16-year-old was killed Tuesday evening in a high-speed car crash on Detroit's west side.
Police said the teen was the passenger in a Ford Taurus that was being driven by a 19-year-old.

The car was going northbound on Rosemont Avenue near Van Buren when it hit a tree, flipped and almost hit a house.
The driver was arrested.
