Detroit teen charged in carjacking outside Livonia library

LIVONIA, Mich. – A 17-year-old Detroit girl faces charges after Livonia police arrested her in connection to a carjacking Aug. 14 outside the Livonia Civic Center Library.

Tanaia Simone Baker is charged with carjacking and armed robbery. She was arraigned on Wednesday.

Baker is being held on a $500,000 bond. She is scheduled be back in court Sept. 4 for a preliminary examination hearing.
