DETROIT - Detroit police are investigating reports of a woman taken from her west side home at gunpoint early Sunday.

Neighbors on Ashton Street, south of Warren Avenue and west of the Southfield Freeway, said they heard a loud argument from the home around 4 a.m. Sunday.

Then they said the woman was taken at gunpoint by a man who may have been her ex-boyfriend.

The woman's children witnessed the incident.

The children were unhurt, but their mother remains missing.
