DETROIT – A Detroit woman is recovering after being shot in the hand during a break-in at her home early Tuesday morning.
The 58-year-old woman exchanged gunfire with the intruder around 1 a.m. in her home on Collingham Drive.
Her injury wasn't very severe, and she was able to be treated and released from a hospital within a of couple hours.
She spoke to Local 4 outside her home and said although she only saw one man in her home, she thinks more people were involved.
She was not able to give a detailed description of the man -- only that he was wearing a mask and had no shirt on.
