Knapp's Dodge Avenger then veered into the opposite lanes and hit another driver, Peck resident Jamie Wells.

Knapp was taken to McKenzie Hospital. The sheriff's office didn't give his condition.

Wells was not hurt.

The horse's owners said they had just purchased the horse and three others that day, and that the horses had got out of the pen, according to the sheriff's office.
