CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 36-year-old Macomb County man has been arrested for allegedly driving drunk while on a bike path in Clinton Township.

Police say Cedrick Stacy, of Macomb Township, was stopped at 1:55 a.m. Sunday for driving his vehicle on the bike path on Metropolitan Parkway west of Groesbeck Highway.

According to police, Stacy smelled of alcohol and refused a Breathalyzer test.  After being put in the back of a patrol car, Stacy tried to kick out the back window.

Police obtained a warrant to draw blood to determine the amount of alcohol he had in his system.

Stacy pleaded not guilty at his arraignment to charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and malicious destruction of police property.
