DSO Announces New Mobile App, 1st Digital Album

The Technology Includes A Series Of Webcasts

DETROIT – The Detroit Symphony Orchestra announced Friday three new technology initiatives that will allow individuals to watch a live concert, browse a full calender of DSO events, listen to digital albums and connect to DSO social media ­­-- all on their mobile devices.

The technology includes "Live From Orchestra Hall," which is a series of webcasts presented by the Ford Motor Company Fund, a free mobile app called "DSO To Go" and the DSO's first digital album.

The webcasts will be hosted by Alex Trajano and it will be the first U.S. orchestra to live stream a regular series of concerts on the internet.

The first concert is this Sunday.
