Dummy security on duty at Detroit's Corktown Inn

Woman found shot dead this past week at Corktown Inn where dummy security guard is on duty

Security, or lack of it, has come under question at the Corktown Inn after a woman was found shot to death in a room there this past week.

The security guard sitting behind the wheel of a red security truck at the inn's parking lot is a stuffed dummy with a duct-taped face and Magic-Marker mouth.

No one at the inn was available to speak to Local 4 on Monday. However, the owner says they have real security working on the weekend. It's unclear if there was a security guard on duty when the woman was found.

Meanwhile, police are searching for a man they are calling a person of interest in the woman's death.
