Early showers drying out, Wednesday staying warm

Isolated showers in the first half of the day giving way to partly cloudy skies

DETROIT – There's spotty rain and thunder on the radar this morning as most of us are drying out.

There will be pockets of fog and low clouds for the early morning hours and we will see a few isolated showers during the first half of today.

While some get a few soakers, most of the day will be mostly dry for most of us as we stay warm. Highs will hit the middle 80s this afternoon with partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies winds NE 5-10 mph.

Thursday is the pick day of the next week! We'll have mostly sunny skies and slightly lower humidity. So morning lows in the 60s and afternoon highs in the middle and maybe even some upper 80s. Again, it won't feel terribly muggy and plenty of sun will soak us in the afternoon.

Labor Day weekend brings more heat and humidity and a few scattered showers.  Track radar and the warming neighborhood temps on the new ClickOnDetroit app (it's free!) in your app store.
