A 70-year-old woman was hit and killed Friday around 6 PM on Ann Arbor- Saline Road near the intersection of Oakbrook.
The woman was crossing the street in a dark portion of the road unable to be seen by the 22-year-old driver from Horton, Michigan. The 22-year-old is not expected to face any charges in the death of the woman, and police say the crash investigation continues.
This is the second pedestrian in one week that was hit and killed crossing the street in Washtenaw County. On Thursday a 59-year-old woman from Ypsilanti was hit and killed in Pittsfield Twp.
