LIVINGSTON COUNTY

  • The Brighton Area Schools are asking for an $88.4 million school bond to fix up elementary and middle schools. 
  • Fenton Schools are asking for a $9.6 million bond to upgrade technology, new buses and security.
  • Fowlerville Community Schools are asking for a renewal of the 18-mill nonhomestead operating millage. 
  • Hartland Consolidated Schools wants to renew the 18 mill tax on nonhomestead property.

MACOMB COUNTY

  • Proposal to provide funds to operate a system of public recreation and playgrounds cost ½ mill.
  • The Anchor Bay School District -- voters approved a millage to ensure the community can use the school's swimming pool.

LENAWEE COUNTY

  • Britton School District proposal to renew non residential property tax of 18 mills and increase it by .5 (one half) mill for a total of 18.5 mills
  • Clinton Community School renewal of 18 mills for operating expenses.

MONROE COUNTY

  • Two Bedford School district proposals are on the ballot. One to renew the current non residential school levy of 18 mills and the second to increase the school levy by one mill.
  • Dundee Township fire Department millage for proposed fire hall and fire equipment one mill for 10 years
  • Whiteford Agricultural School District Millage – one mill for four years to create a sinking fund for construction or repair of school buildings.

OAKLAND COUNTY

  • Bloomfield Hills to elect two commissioners

  • Bloomfield Hills School District -- voters approved a $58 million bond proposal to expand and renovate Andover High School to house all high school students.
  • Clarkston Community Schools bond proposal for technology updates including computer tablets for teachers and students in grades 6-7.

  • City of Oak Park wants to increase its tax levy by 1.1437 mills on each dollar ($1.1437 per $1,000) of the taxable value of all property in the City, for a period of ten (10) years, from 2012 through 2021.

  • Oak Park asks for 1.437 mill for 10 years for public safety personnel and equipment.  They also want to levy an additional one half mill for waste collection.

  • The Anchor Bay School District -- voters approved a millage to ensure the community can use the school's swimming pool.
  • Fort Gratiot Township Transportation levy increase of .62 mill for four years to help pay for the township share of the Blue Water Area Transportation Commission.
  • Marysville School District non-residential property tax renewal of $18 per $1,000 for 5 years to pay for school operational costs.
  • Memphis Community Schools bonding proposal to provide funds to remodel and refurnish school district buildings at .62 mills for $950,000.
  • Port Huron City Transportation Levy proposed increase of .62 mills for four years to help pay the city's share of the Blue Water Area Transportation Commission.

WASHTENAW COUNTY

  • County Commissioner special general election for District 7

  • Ann Arbor public schools district $45.8 Million bond for technology improvements at .51 mills per year until 2023

  • City of Ypsilanti is asking an estimated average rate of 5.4 mills to pay capital improvement projects. A second ballot issue proposes taxing corporations and residents for a one percent income tax and non-residents .5 percent.

  • Allen Park voters denied a proposed property tax meant to offset losses from the failed movie studio.
  • Garden City asking residents for 3.5 mills for police and fire departments.
  • Romulus School district is asking for 5.13 mills for five years to pay for general school needs.
