Sen. Tim Kaine to speak in Warren on Sunday

WARREN, Mich. – Sen. Tim Kaine will be in Warren on Sunday campaigning as the election approaches fast.

According the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, the vice presidential candidate will join Senator Gary Peters in speaking to more than 500 union members and their families. The event is set to take place at 6 p.m. at the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights at 23401 Mound Road in Warren.

Kaine is also expected to speak at another Metro Detroit event that will be open to the public, but no details have been released.

Kaine is expected to speak about Hillary Clinton’s plan to create an economy that works for everyone and their vision for America. He was last in Detroit on Oct. 18.

Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Mike Pence was last in Michigan campaigning at the Lincoln Dinner fundraiser in Shelby Township on Oct. 17.
