The exercise will involve eight SWAT teams, three from St. John Hospitals, multiple Citizens Emergency Response Teams from around the state, and 100 victims.

Warren Mayor Jim Fouts said the exercise will begin with six active shooters forcing their way into two buildings of Davenport shooting and killing the victims.

The SWAT teams will then arrive around 11:40 a.m. and clear the facilities.

SWAT medics and other first responders will then treat and triage the wounded who will then be transported to the hospitals.

Also as part of the drill, a helicopter will also land and transport the most critical patients.

In a statement, Fouts said the exercises will be the "closest thing to a real-life emergency situation."

Fouts also said this experience "will display how well our trained law enforcement and medical professionals function as a team to protect the public."

The campus is located at 27650 Dequindre Road.
